The Mylec 7000 Series Goalie Leg Pads are designed specifically for street hockey, ball hockey, or entry level recreational goalie. Heavy-duty nylon materials are used throughout these pads improving durability, perfect for the goaltenders playing on rougher surfaces.

Mylec's basic strapping design with strictly nylon buckle straps help make dressing time very quick. The 7000 Ultra-Lite leg pads use a fairly soft foam in the majority of the pads that allow for great flex with the pads. The outer roll uses a stiffer foam to help the pads hold their shape. Mylec has used a heavy-duty nylon material almost all throughout these pads to provide excellent durability for the goalies playing on rougher surfaces. The deep leg channel used with these pads allow for a more secure fit to the leg.

Comments:For a relatively inexpensive ball/street hockey pad, the 2010 Mylec 7000 isn't a bad buy. Pros: ease of custom fit, lightweight, seemingly durable materials, nice flat face. Cons: the screws on the toe plates tend to dig into the tops of your toes when you flex your knee forward. Would've like to have seen Mylec use a Velcro boot strap like Reebok's 1K pad instead of a quick-release, as you'll find yourself stepping/skating on the excess strap length. Otherwise, solid purchase. Recommended.
