Good UC wheels like many I've used beforePut (4) of these on my FR 84/72 freestyle frame along with IW bearings and (4) 84mm Explore escalade wheels which I've put 30 days on. Outdoor urban skate use. UC wheel shape and hardness good, Escalade wheels a bit softer but also good for $2.97ea. The IW bearings got rusty on damp outdoor surfaces and 3 wheels got bound up a bit, though I did a quick field repair adding a few drops of Bont Crank bearing oil to the inner races, wheels pulled but bearings not removed, using a skate tool to work the oil into the bearing and re-assemble. I generally prefer the more expensive FR titalium MW9 bearings which seldom fail in the same environment

Skating Uphill Doesn't Feel Uphill with UHRAfter watching the Ricardo Lino video on UnderCover wheels factory tour I have seen why they are a higher quality wheel. So when I saw they had a new formula I jumped at the chance to replace my current UnderCover wheels. The Vortex wheel feels insane due to the UHR polyurethane. Like on the trails I noticed that when skating up an incline it really does not feel like you are going up a hill, like with a normal pump I am finding the same trails I skate on to be an even easier skate. On a rink they perform great as well, but there is a tiny bit more slippage on the super smooth floor but the UHR makes up for it.
