Overview
The Flying Eagle Crocanti Wheels come at an affordable price point and are made to be ideal in smoother urban terrain with grip and speed in mind. They are now offered in 8pks and are priced at a great value.
Crocanti Wheels are popular with Flying Eagle team riders for their hardness (durability), sliding ability, and rebound that gives as spongy sensation even on the roughest asphalt. The variance between the Flying Eagle Crocanti and Flying Eagle Ice Cream Wheels is small, with both being designed for urban skating. The Crocanti is said to be faster on smoother surfaces with a larger, stiffer core. The Ice Cream faster on rougher surfaces with more focus on comfort.

Customer Reviews
Great replacement wheel for wheelchair usersI am a paraplegic and have been in a wheelchair for almost 40 years. I use a Quickie (Sunrise Medical) ultra-lightweight wheelchair with 3 inch casters (different term but they are inline skate wheels). Recently Sunrise Medical has increased the price of replacement casters. At the time of this review they are priced as $108.00 for a pair with bearings (Abec 7's). Yeah, outrageous. So, I started looking for an alternative wheel source.
I found this site about 1.5 years ago and tried out the brand Explore "Triumph" 84mm wheels, which were on clearance, priced at $5 each. After 1.5 years of use, those wheels turned out to be wonderful. I actually still have them because they still have a good bit of life left in them.
I wanted to try these Crocanti wheels because they are priced very reasonable. So, I swapped out the Triumphs for the Crocantis. I paired these wheels with Wicked Twincam ILQ9 bearings (purchased from this site). Ride quality is excellent. The bearings spin very well. Better than the Abec 7's. I cannot comment on longevity for these wheels because I have only used the wheels for 1 month so far.
I will be a returning customer for wheels, bearings and yes, spacers also!
