Overview

IQON EQO Wheels. Made from 45% corn starch with hubs made from 20% recycled composite. I know what you're thinking 'but how do they roll'? The all-new IQON EQO wheels make no sacrifices on performance or wear.

All use the Popcorn wheel compound and are poured in the USA. The 90mm, and 100mm wheels have what IQON calls a 'balanced' profile. It is a round profile that gives control and precision, which is great for urban and street skating. Both the 110mm and 125mm wheels use a straight-up bullet profile for better speed whether it be urban skating or cross-training.

Would Recommend
Slides well, durable, but slowThey are perversely grippy and soft for 88a, which isn't a bad thing necessarily. You can enter a slide easy and control it well. These are long lasting wheels too. Very durable, which I also find odd. I rate them a 3 because I find these are rather niche use for me. I only roll these now for downhill as you can get a great controllable slide to maintain speed, but are super slow to push on flatland. I do not recommend for distance. This wheel compound is some of the slowest stuff I've encountered when trying to push miles.

Previous Feedback

Comments: These are probably my hidden gem wheel of 2021. I avoided the wheels initially due to the Eco compound. I wasn't convinced they would perform. Wrong. I took a chance and picked up a set of 6 in 110mm. Best performing wheel right out of the box not requiring any warm up or wear in. I noticed a difference right away while rolling, sliding, and stopping. I liked them so much I put it above my now runner-up wheel, the UnderCover Cosmic Pulse. Another legit wheel. I didn't think that could happen but it did. The wheels have worn well not wearing any more than a regular wheel too.
