Right out of the box, the Kv8 is ready to play thanks to all of the internal padding Tour used. The comfort collar padding at the top of the boot seems like a small touch but it prevents ankle irritation that commonly occurs on other entry-level skates.
Down below, the multi-surface Kemistry Niton wheels gives players the ability to play on nearly any type of surface that's not rough asphalt. They sit inside of a one-piece frame, which is a huge advantage at this price point since most skates at this price come with a two-piece frame that tends to bend or break over time.
Overall, this is an incredible skate for the price whether you're new to the game or just need a recreational hockey skate that looks, feels and performs like a champ!
