The boot features a great balance between support and stiffness which is perfect for learning to skate without unwanted foot pain. Internally, the Fire 3 boasts extra-thick ankle padding that conforms to any and every foot shape. This means the skate fits just right and helps keep it comfortably locked in place. The padding is then topped with a soft Nylex liner that wicks away moisture to keep feet dry.

Great first time skatesI bought these for my young son, Brendan, who's just learning how to play hockey. The junior size fits him perfectly, and he's so excited to be playing. No complaints either, he says they're really comfortable, and it's been tough to even get him to take the skates off and come inside for a meal!
Most uncomfortable skate everI know this is an entry level skate but it is by far the most uncomfortable skate I have ever worn. So many hot spots. Will be returning ASAP. Don’t bother with this one
