Overview
The Standard Omni Skates look super clean in either color, but the white is tight. This new independent brand started from scratch and has a lot of innovation at a reasonable price. Careful thought from top to bottom has Standard saying this is the perfect aggressive skate.
The Omni shell has been meticulously designed to work for the most skaters as possible. There is ample room in the toe box and heel area for a roomy fit, with thinner plastic in the lacing area to encourage a wrap that hugs around the foot every time you lace up. Standard Comfort Liners are well-padded, comfortable with a neoprene toe (heat moldable in cuff area). Should you have another favorite go to liner, it should easily fit into the Omni without issue. The pin stripe line around the base of the boot adds to their elegance, but you can paint over if it isn't your style. The soul plates are unique with generous space on both sides of the frame for all levels to have confidence to locking on souls and negatives. At the same time, they are sleek and contoured, with the outside edge angling up to the center to meet the frame to give you more grinding juice. For groove tricks, the flat side has a subtle pocket that locks onto objects consistently. It gives great stability when squatting a back royale with the groove helping to keep you from slipping out. Standard Glass-Filled Nylon UFS Frames, premium urethane 58mm 90A wheels, molded 44mm anti-rockers, ABEC 9 bearings, and 8mm axles.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position.
