Overview
The Rink Rat Trickster Wheels boast a new M-Tech Magic Speed blend of materials with the iHub5 hub to provide elite-level speed, grip and durability. M-Tech is a unique dual-durometer inner ring that allows the wheel to flex more during stops and turns, only to aggressively rebound for explosive power when accelerating.
At the Trickster's core is the iHub5 hub that is now made in Rhode Island. Previously, this was the only piece not made domestically so Rink Rat can now proudly say the Trickster is 100% made right here in the USA. Ihub5 also bonds extremely well with the urethane so separation and blow-up issues will be a thing of the past.

Fit Guidelines | Standard 608 bearing size |

Product Note | DEK tile or similar non-hockey perforated tiles provide less wheel contact surface area. As a result, using wheels on these surfaces has less grip and will wear down quicker. |

KEY TECHNOLOGIES | |
---|---|
Dual Duro M-Tech The high durometer urethane outer layer ensures an exceptional roll, maximizing speed. A medium durometer urethane maintains wheel stiffness during strides, enhancing speed and responsiveness. Meanwhile, the low durometer urethane inner layer flattens out, providing maximum grip and control. | |
Magic Urethane This new-to-hockey material provides some of the best grip, roll and durability Rink Rat has ever had. | |
iHub5 with Interlock Keeps the urethane securely bonded to prevent separation or blow-up issues. |

HOCKEY WHEEL HARDNESS GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Roller hockey wheel hardness or durometer should be decided on factors like a player's weight, skill level and playing surface. The higher the durometer rating, the harder the wheel. For example, an 82A wheel is perfect for rough outdoor surfaces while a 76A wheel excels indoors. More advanced players can also benefit from harder wheels since they can utilize the extra rebound and speed. |

AwesomePurchased Tour Kv1 with hellcat wheels installed. I'm 230lb. Those things were like rolling on flats. Limited roll. Sketchy under hard turns and stops. I could feel them flexing hard. 74a is a waste for me. Wish IW could have advised me prior to dropping 400 bucks.
Fast forward 1 week. Ordered the rink Rat Trickster X in 84a. Just what doctor ordered. Holy crap. Excellent traction, but great feel too. I can command when traction slips like on a hard slide or hockey stop. And they look sick at local rink where black lights are on. Wish the KV1 or IW had a wheel option when ordering. Could have saved me another 150 or so. Slapped in ceramic bearings as well
Best wheels I've usedThese wheels are the best wheels that I have ever used. The indoor Tricksters have plenty of grip and they are just phenomenal & amazing. Even the outdoor Tricksters are excellent, but nothing beats the indoor Tricksters. Great wheels. 10/10
Great grip for great valueComments: Great grip and moderate rebound. Feel as good as the more expensive wheels on sport court. After a higher level competitive tournament (6 games), the wheels showed stress marks but did not chunk or crack. I may have to stick with these wheels for a little.
Running 76A and I'm 180 lbs, mainly comparing these to the splits and conflict wheels I also use.
I love these thingsI absolutely love these wheels, the grip I get at my home rink is insane. These wheels are very grippy and very fast so I recommend these highly.
Best wheel on the market, long lastingThe traction on these wheels is unmatched from my testing. Great for high speed, power stops, sharp turns, and they last forever. The first set I had for 3 months before I sold them. I didn't sell them because of their performance, I just wanted to try another wheel. But throughout those 3 months, I never had issues. I'm a very aggressive skater and these wheels are still kept up, never burned, barely cracked, and never lost traction.
The person I sold the wheels to is a friend of mine, heavier then I am, and a more aggressive skater, and they have still not had any issues with them after 6 more months. Still no burning, still few cracks, and the same traction.
