Overview
The Labeda Smoke Wheels bring game-changing Evo Hub technology to a more approachable price point, giving competitive players access to faster speed, further glide and more responsive grip without stepping all the way up into the flagship Whip wheel.
At the core of the Smoke wheel is the Evo Hub, which moves the bearings closer together using a unique hub design and spacer system. By eliminating the large gap found in traditional wheels, power is concentrated through the center of the wheel, allowing the entire urethane profile to flex and rebound more efficiently. Even more importantly, it prevents the bearings from twisting, torquing or binding since they sit next to each other, which is the main driver for better top-end speed and glide.
Unlike the Whip, the Smoke uses a single-pour urethane that Labeda has nearly perfected over the years. This helps keep costs down without sacrificing their signature grip, power and responsiveness that has made them the wheel powerhouse of the industry.
For compatibility, the Smoke Wheels will work on any roller hockey skate, but the EVO Spacers must be used. The EVO Spacers are not included with the wheels and Smoke wheels will not work with traditional spacers. You must purchase a separate set of EVO Spacers and we highly recommend purchasing a backup set of EVO Spacers to keep in your bag.

| Product Note | DEK tile or similar non-hockey perforated tiles provide less wheel contact surface area. As a result, using wheels on these surfaces has less grip and will wear down quicker. |

| EVO Spacer System The innovative design concentrates power through the center of the wheel by placing the bearings side by side, rather than separated by a spacer. The result is more speed and stopping power through increased wheel flex, and better acceleration and glide through freer bearing spin. |

Sizing Chart
| HOCKEY WHEEL HARDNESS GUIDELINES | |
|---|---|
| Roller hockey wheel hardness or durometer should be decided on factors like a player's weight, skill level and playing surface. The higher the durometer rating, the harder the wheel. For example, an 82A wheel is perfect for rough outdoor surfaces while a 76A wheel excels indoors. More advanced players can also benefit from harder wheels since they can utilize the extra rebound and speed. |
