Overview

The Powerslide Next SL 110 Skates have the popular Next boot with short 3x110 trinity mount frames with a lighter design. Powerslide took out the 45-degree strap and included a lighter, dual-sized liner for a slimmer look and feel. The MYFIT Reaction dual-fit liners are designed specifically for the Next boots, they are heat-moldable dual-sized, and very comfortable with soft memory foam.

The Elite frames are removable and adjustable CNC machined elite casted aluminum frames. The short frames promote an aggressive stance that will make you feel more agile and ready to go. The trinity mounting puts your center of gravity low and allows you to change your frames if you'd like another wheel configuration. The Spinner wheels at 100mm, 88A paired with Wicked ABEC9 Bearings can produce controlled slides and offer stellar performance.

Brake not included. Compatible brake is:
Powerslide HABS Brake Mount SM/MD (Sizes 5.0-10.0) or HABS Syncro Mount (Sizes 10.5-12.5)

KEY TECHNOLOGIES
Trinity X Mounting
The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Fast SkatesI bought these skates after many months of looking for a 110 skate that I liked. I played both ice and roller hockey in my youth so I had no hesitancy about getting back on skates. I am now 32 and primarily focus on running, cycling, and weight training and figured that inline skating would be a good way to cross train. I was partial to buying the Rollerblade Twister 110 skates but unfortunately the market for inline skates is extremely limited and those skates were about 150% of the cost of these and not available in any colors I was interested in. Moreover, I thought the RB 110 looked kind of cheap and again, was not available in any colors I wanted. These skates were available in a neutral black colorway which was subtle enough to be non-offensive. I am a true size 10 so was worried about the fit. Ultimately I bought the size 9-10 (42-43) and they were tight and uncomfortable at first. After about 35 miles of skating, they are worn in and fit nicely. My only complaint is the lacing system. I find it unduly confined and difficult to really tighten the laces as much as I want to. However, this might be fixed by subbing out the laces. Overall, great skates.

Fantastic funMy first pair of powerslide skates were the Next Core 100 in Gray & Lilac and I fell in love with the comfort of the liner combined with the shell and the performance of the trinity setup. However, after a year plus, they felt a bit loose so I decided to try these babies out. Pros: Lightweight. Excellent maneuverability. Responsive. Adjustable. Great hold even without the 45-degree angle lower cuff strap. Cons: Not as comfortable as the Next liners so I don't enjoy skating quite as long but I'm hoping my feet will toughen up or that I can find a gel insert if need be. Lacing can be such a pain!!! I get a workout putting these on, the laces need to be longer and honestly I need to get a dang hook or something to make lacing faster... this was a bit of an issue with my core too but not as noticeable because the core was larger and a bit bulkier. Overall happy with these and definitely recommend them. Still tempted to get the core boot or another set of cores to rotate. Wishes: I wish there were more color options in these skates, lacing options, and a lacing tool... Thankfully I have a little artistic skill so I might be able to work on the color/ custom party.
