Overview

Rollerblade Twister 110 Urban Inline Skates.  An all-new fit improves comfort and performance. The shell is lighter, the liners are enhanced, and sizing is made easier. 3x110 is fast and smooth for thrill-seeking urban freeskaters.

The Twister boot is loaded with features, starting with a modified, lighter shell from previous versions. Skate Liner Plus v-cut liners use upgraded cushioning, improving fit, breathability, and performance. The Comfort Flex Tongue uses a complex plastic outer piece with cushioned wings that facilitates support and flex. It allows for a tight, comfortable, and consistent wrap around the shin for improved control without any lace bite. Neoprene stretch toes work together with Footboard Sizers that can be placed under Performance Plus Insoles to change size by a half size. This makes sizing easy and is nice for those suffering from swollen feet on long skate sessions.  Removable sliders, shock absorbers in the heel, and dual-buckle closures are also featured. Underneath are strong and responsive extruded aluminum frames (removable and adjustable) mounted to aluminum mounting blocks in the boot to enhance synergy and control. Twincam ILQ-9 Classic Plus Bearings and Rollerblade's high-quality Hydrogen 85A Wheels. The brake is sold separately (Rollerblade 3WD Brake Mount).

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Well built and comfortableVery comfortable boot for a normal-width foot. Fast wheels, but not too difficult for someone coming from a 4-wheel setup.

Twister is Too stiff to make turnsI have had RB 110 3W for years and love them. This new Twister is too stiff, it is hard to make turns and very difficult to put the blades on as the closure plastic wraps are simply too stiff to wrap across the boot. Thus the boot never get tight enough around my ankles. I wish Rollerblade would return to the original design from their initial skates that were were very light weight where they were not designed like a ski boot.

1990's Rollerblade Lightnings to theseAfter not skating for over 20+ years I decided it was time to skate again. I had 2 pairs of Rollerblade Lightnings in the 90's that I wore to play roller hockey and they were fantastic. I never ever had an issue with the skate and made numerous wheel changes during that time so I decided to go with these Twister 110's. Back in the 90's I don't recall there being a skate with 3 wheels and certainly not 110's so this setup would certainly need some getting used to. I think I made right choice. These skates are fast and agile. It definitely took some time to get used to the taller ride height and the posture you need to be in. You can't really skate with an upright posture in these, the posture is more forward leaning over your knees and paying attention to how/where your skate is making contact to the road. There's definitely less room for error with these but I'm enjoying them. The one thing I don't like about these is that the left boot presses on my inner ankle bone so after about 30 minutes of skating it's a bit painful. I still haven't figured out what could be causing this and hoping after several more hours on them this goes away. Strange because I don't have the same issue on the right skate. I recommend these to anyone looking for a 3 wheel setup. They're made really well just like the Lightning I had back in the day. Nice job Rollerblade.

I had been running with an older version of the Twister. The newer version supports and fits better. After a short break in period, these are very comfortable skates.

Awesome bladesHave not rollerbladed in decades. Had a partial knee replacement 3 months ago and want to blade (low impact) to replace my running habit. In short, I LOVE these new skates! First time on 3 wheel blades and first on 110s. They are super. Highly recommend the large diameter 110. They roll over everything and fast off the line. The boot is quality and dual tightening clips are supportive. I tried size 7 and returned for 8 since 7s pinched me a bit. 8 super comfortable.

Comfortable and supportive skateI am not a professional skater this is only my second pair of skates so I'm no expert, but I have put many miles on these. I can so far the fit is phenomenal. My feet & ankles feel great and I'm riding fairly rough paths. The wheels so far have held the road well. Only once did I lose grip and it was my fault for coming into a very sharp turn HOT with limited space. Even then a rider with more experience would have pulled it off I'm sure. Either way, I am very impressed with the quality of these skates. I look forward to many more miles.

Just what I was looking forI've been using Rollerblade Twister Edges 90s for the past couple of years and love them, but I wanted something that I could use more for distance skating. I had a lot of trouble deciding between these and the Maxxum 125s, but ultimately landed on the 110s and I made the right choice. The boot still fits tight like I'm used to and I love the larger wheels. I was worried it would take me a bit to get adjusted to the new setup, but it felt natural right from the start. I highly recommend these to anyone that is considering a skate with a larger wheel. PS. It doesn't affect the performance, so I didn't mention it above, but the color scheme is awesome on these. I really like the dark Hydrogen wheels.

My ReviewI skate long distances usually > 10 miles. I push my dogs In a pet stroller. The skates are becoming more comfortable as I break them in. I went from 4 to 3 wheels. I think it is better for me. Less chance of wheels becoming locked up from rocks getting jammed in the frames and wheels. Easier to maneuver. Skates are a little difficult to get on and of. I am 61 and stop skating for a couple of years because of work and I did not like the K2s. My first set was Rollerblade. K2's I like the Boa system but not anything else. Back to Rollerblade. I do not have a lot of experience with skates but it appears rollerblade has the best frames and bearings for the price you have to pay. My Bont Semi race skates does not do as well and I upgraded to Swiss bearings. For me, Rollerblades have outperformed both K2 and Bont. This is a very good fitness skate. Getting back to skating is having positive health benefits. The cross-training has been good for my knees and hips I am feeling about 30 again.

Fantastic experience on these skatesFirst 3WD skate for me, the transition was mostly painless. Very playful, quick turns, great crossover, and fast. I swapped out the bearings for Bones Swiss, stock is plenty fine but acceleration is a bit quicker now. I feel much more stable at higher speeds over my Twister 80s. Not a huge fan of the urban camo scheme going on but otherwise a great skate. Went from 6+ mile routes to 16 most weekends. Living in suburbia is bliss so fun to just mess around on these on local roads, popping curbs and such. Downhill handles like a champ, if not too fast at times. I am very happy with my purchase at 100+ miles and going through my stock set of wheels. Hard to transition back to a four-wheel set.

Stability and speed had a babyOriginally ordered the Macroblade 110 3wd but the woven boot style, which looks more breathable and comfortable, left a lot to be desired in terms of stability and security. So I opted for these instead because of the hard plastic boot. These fit true to size even for my wider than average feet. The liners inside are super plush and comfortable, you wouldn't expect so much comfort from the looks of these but they impress. These are fast and once you strap in be ready to move. Used to do aggressive skating 20 years ago and loved piste carving as a skier about 10 years ago. When I point these downhill I'm right back to those good ole carving days. Bearings are speed incarnate. My neighbor asked me if they were powered because I was whizzing by so quickly. Wheels are also great, grippy and soft and they offer traction for days. No brake with skates so you'll need to know what you're doing or start off nice and easy. Also because of the 110mm wheel size you'll have to get used to being further off the ground. Would def recommend for the intermediate and above.

Excellent 3 wheel skatesI love these skates! They fit well! They aren't as narrow as I thought they would be based on prior model reputation. The break-in process was almost non-existent and they feel very comfortable. Very happy with purchase.

Great skates!I love these skates! They fit well! They aren't as narrow as I'd worried and the break-in process wasn't bad either. They're good for longer distances too, I usually skate for 10+ miles at a time.

Smooth ride, happy rollerAmazing skates and couldn't be happier. The ride is smooth and the fit is comfortable requiring essentially no break-in. My only complaint is that I don't like the camo on the liner or the frame and it's hard to find cuffs of a different color.

Great boot!Just received mine today. Arrived earlier than expected. I was only able to take quick a skate on them to make sure they fit. Love that the ratchet straps lock. The lining is very comfortable. Fits true to size. I think using the size guide that I should get 9-9.5, I went with 10-10.5. Fits perfect. I will hopefully have a longer skate after work so might update later.
