Overview
K2 Redline 125 Inline Skates. K2 teamed up with Madshus (a renowned Nordic ski brand) to help design the next evolution of endurance skates. Redline boots are lightweight and feature a new anatomical and supportive chassis. The cuff and base are made of strong, rigid carbon to help capture energy. both a carbon cuff and base. Both were modeled after the legendary shape and fit of the Madshus Redline Ski Boot, with the result offering support, strength, and a great deal of comfort with well-ventilated microfiber uppers with pre-molded ankle support. The range of motion is increased by removing the cuff to look and skate like a speed boot. With the cuff, four velcro closures + laces keep work to keep you locked in.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES |
|
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. K2 Guidelines: Ordering US shoe size works for most. Add .5cm for a relaxed fit and 1.0cm if having wide feet. |

Previous Feedback
Comments: The skates look great. I tried them on in the house and the length was great, so I thought they would be fine. I did one skate on them and could barely stand up. They are very wobbly and probably made for someone with a wide foot. I even tried a footbed in them as suggested and that didn't help. If you use the cuff, like I did, it pinches your ankle if you lean your ankle forward like you should when you are skating. I successfully raced around the country for 19 years including A2A, New York City Marathon, and many more with big hills. I could barely go down my driveway with these
