The FR Skates FR1 310 Skates use the popular FR1 boots. They skate over large 110mm 85A wheels and short three-wheel frames, so they are both quick and agile.  FR 3D frames are durable and responsive, made from extruded aluminum (removable and adjustable).  The boots have integrated aluminum frame mounting blocks (energy plates) in the base that allow for 7 different frame mounting positions.

The boots on their own are very comfortable with liners (removable) that are heavily padded. They will break in with some skate time, so a snug fit to start is good. They lace up using standard lacing, getting help from metal 45-degree micro-adjustable ratchet and cuff buckles. They do not come with a brake however they are compatible with the FR 3W Brake Mount.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.
FR liners break in with skate time to free up more room. A snug fit from the start is good.
* FR is doing a running change to adjust the US size on these sizes to more closely correspond with the measurements for that size. The skate box (or tongue) may read either US size during this change, but the sizing of the skate is the same (EU, MP, and CM).

Great tech for an active dadHas-been hockey player here looking to increase my fitness for beer league as well as keep up with my kid, bought these new skates on a whim as my old pair I bought in high school 25 years ago. The new tech is amazing, 110mm wheels absorb the expansion cracks in the local bike paths and the short wheel base is very similar to my Bauer hockey skates. Liners were tight at first but are packing out nicely. Would buy again.

Amazing serviceFR skates have a particular sizing chart and the support team went out of their way to email back and forth and review sizing. Ultimately the decision is up to me but they made sure I knew to test them in my house on carpet and they have a very reasonable return policy to switch them. The chat was perfect and I got them faster than it said it would deliver. They aren’t cheap for skates so I wanted it to be right the first time. It’s an investment for my budget and 10/10 will day buying quality is the way to go, changing the wheels or boot in the future will be a breeze and I feel much safer with my ankles housed on top-notch make/model. I’ve been skating with my friends and I’m almost 40. Don’t wait get yourself some nice skates. Also worth noting that “aggressive” triskates are perfect if you plan to ride around outside on rough streets. I don’t even plan to do tricks but the ride is so smooth with the bigger nice wheels. There’s no heel break so keep that in mind for the learning curve on the front end.

FR skatesGreat skates but make sure the frame bolts are tight! They came loose after 5 outings. Kind of crazy and dangerous.

The skates themselves are perfect I messed up the sizing something a bit off but it's perfect with 2 pairs of socks. On the skates, there's actually a plastic part of the boot you have to cut. It's by the front buckle and its for sizing. It has little scissor cut marks and2 you do it till they fit snug on ur leg.(very much confused me when i got. you have to cut to size or they wont fit right)
