By offering the 301 as a boot-only platform, Daoust gives players the freedom to build the exact wheel and bearing setup that fits their game, or reuse the setup from the skates they're replacing, while putting more value into the boot itself.
The stiffer 40/60 composite boot delivers excellent support and power transfer for explosive starts and confident stops, while still maintaining the iconic step-in comfort Daoust has been known for over decades. Inside, heat-moldable VE Poly foam paired with a moisture-managing checkered microfiber liner locks the foot in comfortably from first shift to last.
Up top, the 7mm pro felt tongue protects against slashes and blocked shots without restricting forward flex. Underneath, the composite blend outsole is paired with Daoust's Hi-Lo roller chassis, which comes ready with axles but allows players to choose their own spacers, wheels, and bearings for a truly custom build.
