Overview
The CCM Tacks XR 85 Hockey Shoulder Pads deliver high-level protection with a comfortable, customizable fit for competitive players. JDP-injected shoulder caps with exposed foam covers help disperse impact energy away from the shoulder joints, while a floating sternum guard features D3O® side panels reinforced by additional PE rib guards for premium coverage through the chest. A compress-molded spine cap extends that protection to the back, protecting players from sticks, pucks, and collisions.
Lightweight front and back panels provide anatomical protection that moves naturally with the body, while an XR-style lower back panel enhances overall fit and coverage. Height-adjustable biceps allow players to dial in their fit, and an exposed belly pad offers extended protection through the lower torso.

| KEY TECHNOLOGIES | |
|---|---|
| JDP Technology Standing for Joint Dispersion Protection, this unique design deflects heavy impact energy away from the joints and into the surrounding foam. | |
| D3O Smart Foam CCM's most advanced and protective material available, D3O is rate-sensitive so it won't hinder comfort or mobility. Soft and pliable in its natural state, D3O quickly hardens and absorbs impact energy to bring players the very best protection for all kinds of hockey-related impacts. |

Sizing Chart
| GENERAL SHOULDER PAD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
|---|---|
| Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness. |
