Overview

USD Aeon 72 XXI Aggressive Street Skates. The Aeon boots ditched the UFS frame system to make lower, lighter, and more responsive skates. They shattered all expectations to become a modern classic design that is hugely popular among aggressive street and urban skaters.

The shell, soulplate, and frame are all one piece without any heavy hardware and a nice and wide h-block. MyFit Skinny Boy Dual-Fit Liners (removable and heat-moldable) are easy to size and include laces so that you can fasten them to the shell for better control.  The soft top lacing looks better and allows you to strap in tighter.  The 72 XXI rides flat with USD 72mm Team Wheels loaded with Wicked ABEC9 Bearings.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Amazing skatesI absolutely love these skates! I'm 36, have been skating since I was 5, and aggressive skating since I was 15. One thing I have always had an issue with is that most aggressive skates are terrible for urban skating. The tiny wheels make them useless for getting around town, or even skating to the skatepark. The Aeon 72 perfectly solves this problem. I can skate these all over town with a smooth ride. On top of that I can easily do all the grinds in my repertoire. In fact I am way more confident skating bowls and half-pipes because the 72mm wheels don't slip out, and I never have to worry about hitting my frames on sharp turns. If you're looking for a skate that can handle the street and the skatepark, this is the perfect skate.

Smooth ride and true to sizeWas a little nervous about deciding not to size up as I read contradictory comments about the fit. But found these are actually true to size with plenty of room for my toes even without heat molding the liner.

Getting back into skating after 20 plus yearsThe five-star rating is for how much fun I am having with these skates. The daughter wanted skates and wanted me to buy a pair to skate with her. I did a lot of research and watched many videos to find the one that would be perfect for me. Went with these because they were hybrid of freestyle and aggressive with the stock 72mm wheels. Going to be using these mostly to cruise around and get back into grinding slowly. Very light and comfortable. In terms of sizing, I’m about a 240mm mondo give or take a little. I took a chance and went with the 8.0-9.0 size and they pretty much fit perfectly. Knowing that if I went with a size smaller it would more likely than not be too tight on me so I would definitely say add at least .5cm or 5mm to your foot size like the site says to find the best size for you. The toe room is good but I’d like a tad more room on the top but I think it will be enough once the liners are fully broken in. I will also say my foot width is about 10cm and these fit fine. Overall I love them and that is what my rating is based on. As for how these compare to anything else I couldn’t tell you but for a guy in his forties I am happy with these.

Awesome skatesNice pair of skates. Great build quality. Fit is a little tight but after a few sessions, it feels great on the feet. Fast and light. Shipping was quick. Highly Recommend

Light and FastJust got back into skating with this skate. It's surprisingly light and the 72mm wheels definitely help on bad surfaces. Size 12 is pretty comfy - I agree the top latch can be a little bit testy about closing when it's tightened a lot. They seem pretty durable but I quickly took some decent-sized chunks out of the frame when I stalled on some metal/concrete benches. I hope that we can find a boot replacement in the future if we tear it up too much because you can't replace frames or soul plate on this one

Fast skatesI fly on these skates. It's nice going from 56 mm wheels to 72 mm but the design with the clips could use some attention. I'm not able to tighten my top clip as much as I would like without it cutting into the other latch. Still love these skates and would definitely recommend them.

Back at it after 20 yearsMight be a little early to do a full review but these skates are exactly what I've been looking for. The 72mm wheels combined with the Abec 9 bearings give you plenty of speed. Be careful downhill as you'll be cruising in no time! My kid's bike and I have no problem keeping up with them. The boot felt a bit tight at first. I'm a 9 so I got the 8-9 size. After heat molding the liners and a couple of trips around the neighborhood, they fit fine. I haven't hit the skate park yet, I plan to do a full review once I can get out there again.
