USD Universal Skate Design
UPSIDEDOWN was born on July 29th, 1997. First was the Damocles skate, which already had lots of interchangeable parts. The ideology was to turn the industry UPSIDEDOWN with new concepts & designs that would make it possible for skaters to use parts from other companies to customize their skates.
In 1998 UPSIDEDOWN was renamed to USD and the legendary Throne skate was released. For the first time bladers could use different frames such as Senate, 50/50, Kizer, and also have the option of soulplates in different shapes and materials.
In 1999 Brian Shima joined the team and The Psirus was released with a new liner, look, improved performance, as well as new frame exchange technology making less adapter plates necessary. So it was no doubt that USD/Powerslide joined in the development of the UFS system, a standardization for rollerblading frames today. Kizer the frame brand from Powerslide, was the first aftermarket company offering UFS frames (the Stream Frame). Meanwhile, USD was driving forward with customization technologies of their own.
USD has since changed their name to "Universal Skate Design" to more closely reflect their ideals of continually improving, adapting, and evolving with time. They offer the most molds of any other aggressive boot company and encourage skaters of all ages to continually push the envelope to improve, adapt and evolve. USD is one of the main developers in blading's biggest worldwide collection of skate manufacturers, Powerslide, and is committed to promoting and supporting street skating while continuously focusing on innovation in hardware and technology.

USD Skate Parts
These are 8mm axles that fit USD Aeons, Kizer Fluid, Kizer Trimax Frames and most other frame brands as long as they use 8mm axles without a funky shape for the axle head (i.e. Ground Control Featherlite Frames with Sickle Axles). This pack comes with bearing spacers AND frame spacers.
The Kizer Superbolts Frame Mounting Bolts are low-volume mounting screws made for hex keys. Have you ever stripped a screw? These allow for a socket to fit around them as well. Super! The pack of 12 includes 12mm (4), 15mm (4), and 18mm (4). They will work with most 2pt mount and UFS frames.

Powerslide Classic Buckles and Straps are compatible with many of Powerslide's recreational, freeskate, and urban skates such as the Doop, Next, Swell and Zoom boots. They also are used on USD Aeon Skates and may work on other brands as well.

USD Aeon Skate Cuffs offered in hard or soft (when available). These are the new cuffs that will ft all Aeons. They are higher, more supportive and with flex cuts on the top. Also new is the height-adjustable hinge spacer to customer cuff height to preference. Image updated soon!
The Inline Skate Cuff Bolts - Round 4 Pack are used for attaching the cuffs to your aggressive skate boots and can be used as replacements if you're old ones are shredded or lost. Each bolt is approximately 22.5mm / 2.5cm, and it is a pretty common size so it may work with cuffs from Rollerblade, K2, Valo, USD, Remz, and Xsjado, depending on model. These specific bolts have been confirmed to work with all current Razors Cult skates.
The Aeon Shock Absorber is for use in all USD Aeon Skates. Be sure to get the correct size (2 sizes).
