Overview
The True Catalyst 7X Stick brings truly elite performance, durability and shot power to this more approachable second price point. At an extremely featherlight 410 grams (85 flex), this 7X is 15 grams lighter than the previous top-end XC9 ACF with the same damp blade feel and powerful shot release.
The big improvements can be found in the BAT and PASS blade technologies. The new Braided Aramid Technology (BAT) replaces the previous carbon supports with Aramid to reduce weight without compromising dampening properties. The Performance Advanced Strengthening System (PASS) uses a new foam core composition to ensure long-lasting durability and pinpoint accuracy.
While True's signature Axenic one-piece construction has been one of the best in the industry for quite some time, the new Precision Layering Design (PLD) helps to elevate performance even more. By using thinner, more advanced carbon layering patterns, the 7X requires fewer shaft materials to achieve the same durability, strength and energy transfer properties as before for a drastic decrease in weight.

GENERAL STICK FLEX AND SIZING RECOMMENDATION | |
---|---|
We recommend choosing the hockey stick flex that puts your specific height and weight at the middlemost point in both categories. A common rule of thumb is to select a flex rating by dividing your body weight in two and subtracting another 10-15 flex points. See the flex chart and articles below for more detailed information on sizing and selecting hockey sticks. |
