Overview
The True Catalyst Nitro Hockey Stick - Youth gives young players next-generation shot technology for powerful, responsive releases. Built for mid-kick performance at low-kick weight, it combines powerful shooting with effortless handling.
Using proprietary SmartFlex AI flex mapping, True analyzed modern shooting mechanics to create an updated flex profile that efficiently loads and releases energy across every shot type and play style. Adaptive kick points seamlessly transition between low, mid, and high hand placement to maximize power based on where your hands are positioned on the shaft.
Further enhancing performance is the Strategic Rib Tech - Dampening (SRT-D) blade design. Built on the proven stability of True's ribbed blade construction, SRT-D adds a next-generation dampening layer that absorbs unwanted vibration while enhancing puck feel. The result is smoother first touches, cleaner passes, and greater control under pressure.
Square corners with concave sidewalls pair with a gloss grip finish for a comfortable in-hand feel, whether you're picking corners or going tape to tape. Textured raised elements throughout the shaft make it easy to adjust hand placement, giving players complete control every time the puck touches their stick.

Sizing Chart
| GENERAL STICK FLEX AND SIZING RECOMMENDATION | |
|---|---|
| We recommend choosing the hockey stick flex that puts your specific height and weight at the middlemost point in both categories. A common rule of thumb is to select a flex rating by dividing your body weight in two and subtracting another 10-15 flex points. See the flex chart and articles below for more detailed information on sizing and selecting hockey sticks. |
