Continuing with the theme of a custom-like fit, the PFS or Performance Footbed System allows players to micro-tune the arch support too. With additional mid and high arch support inserts, every foot that goes into a Catalyst 7 can have the comfortable arch support they need.
Internally, upgraded the fit and performance in their ankle padding. With what they call Elite Orthotic-grade Performance Foam, these offer immediate step-in comfort especially after the baking process. These help to comfortably lock the foot into place while the microfiber liner is soft to the touch and excels at keeping feet dry!

Love them so farI've had these for about a year now. They have been great skates, I have tried on all the new skates and more expensive (supreme machs, xf pros, hyperlite 2's) and havent felt they fit my specific foot nearly as good as these. I do want to upgrade to a higher performance boot in the future so will likely swap to the 9x4 or Customs in the future if these break down.
Tried all the brandsTried the Bauers and CCMs and these were by far the most comfortable fit for my feet. Responsive and getting more comfortable every wear. Haven't had a pair fit this well since my old Easton Z Air Comps.
Great skatesGreat skates very comfortable and no complaints whatever.
Finally found the best fitting skateI struggled finding a skate with enough room in the foot bed to not cause arch pain. Tried CCM then Bauer. After a back and forth with IW customer service I was told True has a 30 day no questions return policy and they were also the only brand that the boot not just the interior padding forms in the baking process. This with a double pair of socks formed perfectly after just one bake no one arch pain. THANK YOU IW customer service for the great advice. Aside from that these are quality skates, light, solid construction. Decently padded, I've taken a few shows in the ankles from the point with no impact injury to the ankles.
Excellent skatesSkates are so comfortable. Can spend several hours in them without any issues. Came with warped steel but inline warehouse replaced promptly to the UK. Excellent service.
Fits like a gloveI wear a size 11 shoe and purchased a 9.5 skate. I attempted to bake it but I failed so I found a professional to help me out. After baking, it fits like a glove. Very comfortable!
Great Value skatesThey are amazing, the fit and comfort alone is great. But when you factor in the price vs other manufacturers these are unrivaled.
Amazing.
So far so goodI'm pretty pleased with the True Catalyst 7 skates so far. I've only worn them half a dozen times at this point, but they're light and sturdy. The fit is a lot different than my past skates, but takes only a shift or two to get used to them. I've taken several hard shots in the toe and side of my foot, and they offer great protection compared to my last pair.
The build quality is still up in the air, but I'm optimistic. I've heard bad stories from buddies in pro shops about True skates that they see, but nothing negative for me out of the gate.
Excellent for unique feetI spent hours and hours trying on CCM and Bauer skates at multiple retailers, but none fit. I bought a couple sizes of these affordable skates and one fit great! I did an initial bake at home to be sure.

Amazing fit and feelThe True fits and feels different than any other skate, there isn't a similar comparison. It's incredibly comfortable and feels like the boot wraps around and connects with your foot. On the ice, the design makes a noticeable difference in your stride and the pitch and blade profile put you into a better skating position.
TRUE-ly the comfiest skate I've ownedWow, oh... WOW! After owning hockey skates like Bauer, CCM, Easton and Nike... All I can say is, my feet loves these skates so much! I don't play hockey but I just love to skate. I haven't skated more than 2 hours non-stop before but the TRUE skates made me do it! I usually rest my feet while I skate because of aches and pain but I didn't really experienced it with the Catalyst 7s. I sized down half a size on this as I wear size 7EE on all my skates and the fit is really snug and comfy. I baked it and wrapped it with an elastic bandage wrap to get the heel properly locked in place and it did work. Price point is really good and it came with some arch supports that you can stick with the insoles. I tried it but my feet didn't like it so I took it off and the rest was history!!!
UNREAL!These skates are insane how comfortable they with a crazy perfect fit, feels like its one with your foot.
More Form Fitting Than TF7Tried both the Catalyst 7 and the TF7 and the TF7 felt like my feet were in a ski boot. It was a comfortable ski boot and I skated fine with them but these Catalyst 7's feel like they're a part of my foot and my turning and stopping is so much more responsive. It felt like there was more form-fitting foam in the boot with the Cat7's. Either way, great skates thus far.
The most comfortable skates I ever hadAfter almost 3 years on Bauer Supreme 2s Pro I've finally found skates that fit me perfectly. In comparison to Bauer skates(11.5 D in my case), I suggest going 0.5 size smaller, as these skates have a crazy amount of foam inside, which will free a lot of space after baking. I took size 11 and my first impression was that they will never fit, as they were super tight, but after I baked it I don't want to take it off :)
