Overview
The Sure Grip Power Trac Plates are elite racing and speed skating plates that are notable for how incredibly lightweight and competitive they are, even in other disciplines like roller derby and jam skating. They are made with 7000 series extruded aluminum alloy that is machined in the U.S. and features a number of circular cutouts to further reduce its weight. The Power Trac plate employs a unique reverse-pivot design in which the pivot ball is threaded directly into the plate and rests in a cup attached to the aluminum trucks (as opposed to the pivot arm coming from the truck into a cup that is seated in the plate).

PowerTrac is PowerSupreme speed and stabiltyOne of the best, lightest plates, I have ever skated on and made a pair of skates with...I say this as a skater from the oldschool now skating for 36 years at the age of 47. Get yourself a PowerTrac if you're into speed,shuffling in the fast lane at the rink,or just dancing on your skates...and also in case you do groundwork or low to floor spins,this plate is for you.
The PowerTrac is super strong and super light. To be honest I have a few pairs of skates and even though I love them all,my PowerTrac skates are my goto indoor skates. They work very fast outside as well but I prefer to use my PowerTrac inside and use my other outdoor-setup skates to skate outside.
This keeps my PowerTrac Skate polished,clean and unscratched lol
I bought the PowerTrac as an alternative to spending $230 more for Proline Labeda plates. All the skate makers I have learned under as a former Employee of Miami's legendary HotWheels Skating Center taught me that the PowerTrac is the workingman's/workingwoman's Proline plate. Very similar performance and it is true...Prolines are great and PowerTrac is sitting right next to Prolines in Speed,handling,and performance. I never said the PowerTrac is better but it is right there next to the Proline plate. If you weigh 250pounds or more you should get Prolines as they are made to withstand more weight than most/regular plates.
Get yourself these plates if you want power,speed,and lighter skates. By the way these are way faster than any Atom Falcon/pilot,Avanti Suregrip Mag,Avengers,Bont Athena,Neo or Pro Reactors by Powerdyne and any of the like(octane derbyelite,roll-line blaster too) ...The PowerTrac plates are super high quality. Go with harder cushions for extreme speed and jumps. I use a combo of yellow and red cushions. I also like the purple ones. The yellows the plate comes with are for skinny girls. I am a heavy 195pound DadMan. I use harder cushions for the pushenz lol NOTE THIS PLATE DOES NOT COME WITH NUTS,SO BE SURE TO BUY A SET OF 7MM NUTS FOR THE AXLES. I will say it's ridiculous to buy a plate for over $300 and have to go buy a set of 7mm nuts seperately. The plate is worth the money but should come with nuts. All other plates come with nuts. It's like buying a 45 or 9mm and it comes with no magazine. PSA NOTE TO SURE-GRIP Please include nuts with these plates when you sell nice plates. Give us good nuts we can count on!
