Their signature bone-shaped sliders were extremely popular right up until they ceased production on them in 2023, and remained in high demand despite a lack of availability. They make their triumphant return here on a fantastic all-in-one park package that the Boardwalk Plus Boot.
The Sure-Grip Boardwalk Plus is an all-suede high top boot with a stitched sole, padded liner, and rolled collar. It has a snug skate boot fit that runs slightly narrow, but there is a lot of break-in that happens over time because of the pliability of the suede fibers. The boot is attached to a Rock nylon plate, which is a lightweight but sturdy plastic plate that has an adjustable toe stop.
Usually it's the boots and plates that steal the show with any skate package, but the most exciting components on these Boardwalk Huck Skates might just be the park-ready parts that come pre-attached and ready to roll. Huck Skate Supply has provided their 2.5" Huck Grind Trucks and a set of Huck Wonderland Wheels, which come in three varieties, one for each color of Boardwalk Huck Skate. Solar Sliders may be a new name, but it's a familiar product that we're very sure will quickly remind people why they were so popular a few years ago. This setup is a rare, park-ready skate out of the box, all you have to do is lace up and drop in!
