Smith Derby Knee Pads are built tough for the rigors of derby. With three layers of padding, this is the most cushioned knee pad in the Smith line to date. The pad itself is shorter than the Scabs models to provide a more derby minded fit and flat, replaceable caps make it ideal for knee taps and falls!

Great padsI just wish they came in XS!
Amazing knee padsI really love them. They fit well. They are comfortable. They do a great job protecting. My only wish is that they came in more colors.
Love my ScabsThese are my favorite knee pads. I've been playing for years and this is the first time I had to replace them. These last longer than Triple 8.

Comments: "Runs snug" is an understatement. I bought the XXL size and the two velcro pieces on the butterfly closure couldn't even meet when I tried to close it around my leg. The elastic strap that runs around the leg works just fine, but I don't want velcro rubbing on my legs while I'm skating. I've got some thunder thighs, but I expected a 2XL to work a little better for me.
