- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Shock Doctor Loose Hockey Jill Short has a super ventilated mesh fabric design with a loose fit for superior comfort. A mid-rise cut and low-profile pelvic protector is specifically designed for female athletes. The included pelvic protector is built with a thermal-formed contour foam and molded high-impact shield for elite-level coverage and protection.
It's held inside an integrated pocket that secures it to the shorts with unique straps, keeping it in place throughout every movement. The straps also provide an easy-on and easy-off when getting dressed. On both the front and back of the legs, Velcro patches are there to secure your hockey socks and prevent them from falling down during play.
