The Sherwood Rekker Legend 1 Stick is a perfect fit for the elite sniper looking for a dangerously quick release, a featherlight feel and long-lasting durability.
With a nearly identical construction to the flagship Legend Pro, Legend 1 can be considered the beefed-up or extra reinforced version that sacrifices some weight in exchange for even better impact protection and durability. In terms of performance, Sherwood loaded this up with three massive upgrades: the Ergo Taper Shaft (ETS), the DuoFire Flex Profile and the VR92 blade core.
First off, the Ergo Taper Shaft boasts a completely unique shaft construction that combines comfort, control and a quick release into one. Both the upper third and the middle third are boast ergonomic shaft dimensions that combine a natural feel with a better lock. Meanwhile, the lower third works hand in hand with the DuoFire Kick Point that features two flex zone to maintain the same deadly quick shot release that now has a little extra velocity to offer on bigger shots.
The Legend 1 blade receives a solid update too with the VR92 construction featuring a full I92 material additional. With two reinforcing ribs that run heel to toe and high-end foam reinforcing it, players will feel the extra shot pop and accuracy compared to years past. The I92 material is essentially a vibration dampening layer that doesn't just make catching passes or technically puck handling easier, it even prevents it from chipping and cracking too.

GENERAL STICK FLEX AND SIZING RECOMMENDATION | |
---|---|
We recommend choosing the hockey stick flex that puts your specific height and weight at the middlemost point in both categories. A common rule of thumb is to select a flex rating by dividing your body weight in two and subtracting another 10-15 flex points. See the flex chart and articles below for more detailed information on sizing and selecting hockey sticks. |
