Viconic Impact Protection was placed in the knee doughnut and outer knee wing for pro-level impact protection. Its cone-like design is specifically constructed to absorb and dissipate impact energy away from the body and into the surrounding protection. Molded high-density foam adds elite-level coverage to the calf for slashes or blocked shots. It has a new design called AIZ, which allows the calf guard to seamlessly wrap over the leg for 360-degree coverage and unrestricted mobility.

Sherwood's new I/O Guard is a special design that caters to both the tongues in or tongues out skaters. Keep the liner out and against the body for comfort if you're the tongues out style or slip the bottom portion of the liner inside the Guard to prevent wear and tear for the tongues in player.

The Legend 1 features CIP Technology in the upper thigh guard, allowing players to dial in their fit and coverage. A grip print has been added to the COP-r29 liner to ensure the protection stays locked on the leg during every stride and movement. This special liner has an incredibly soft feel to the touch and delivers some of the best odor-control on the market!

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES
Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility.
If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit.

Sherwood Rekker Legend 1I love these shin guards, the comfort is amazing and they don't move around what so ever. Coming from Jetspeed control shin guards that only laster two years of roller hockey playing 1 game a week. My jetspeed shin guards knee caps broke on both shin guards. The Sherwood Rekker Legend 1 shin guards are very protective compared to the jetspeed control shin guards. The plastic seems to be thicker in comparison. The Sherwood shin guards are a bit bulky compared to jetspeed or vapor shin guards. I wear my shin guards over my skate tongue so this doesn't bother me. I play defense in roller hockey and I feel like these will last a very long time. I needed something protective for my bad knees and the Sherwood shin guards provide a ton of protection. I have taken pucks and hard falls wearing these shin guards and had no issues. With my jetspeed shin guards I was in pain for a few days after.

Best shin guards I've ownedI play inline and prior to purchasing these I was using ref shin guards which are super light, small, and hug your leg, which is phenomenal for mobility and speed, but were starting to kill my knees if I took a fall or had to drop down for a one timers as they offer little protection. Looking for something with a lot more protection in a lightweight package, I purchased and ended up returning several other pairs and brands of shin guards until I found these Sherwood's. They are light as a feather, super comfy, good fit, and offer a ton of protection. Not only do they have good padding/protetion in the inner knee, but lots of slash and clapper protection on the side and even a little on the calf. Definitely worth the $.
