Overview
The Sherwood Code Photon 2 Hockey Stick brings the lightweight performance, reliable durability, and all-around shooting ability of the Code lineup to competitive players looking to elevate their game. Weighing just 415 grams (60" model), it offers a balanced feel, responsive handling, and the performance needed to make an impact in every zone on the ice.
Sherwood's Energized Velocity Taper (EVT) works alongside a Hybrid Kick Point to create a versatile shooting profile that loads easily to deliver quick releases and powerful shots. The blade is constructed with Blackline 32 carbon fiber to provide a lightweight, responsive feel while maintaining excellent durability through repeated use. VR92 dampening material helps absorb blade vibration, creating cleaner, more connected puck control.
Rounding out the stick is a comfortable shaft design that provides a secure feel in your hands while allowing quick, smooth hand movement. Sherwood's Tactile Grip finish adds extra control without limiting mobility, helping players stickhandle confidently, make crisp passes, and shoot with consistency.
The Code Photon 2 is available with Sherwood's iconic PP77 curve, a fan-favorite blade pattern known for its reliable release and ability to bury shots top shelf. Intermediate models also feature Sherwood's age-specific I-Shaft geometry, designed with smaller hands in mind to provide a more comfortable grip and improved control.

| We recommend choosing the hockey stick flex that puts your specific height and weight at the middlemost point in both categories. A common rule of thumb is to select a flex rating by dividing your body weight in two and subtracting another 10-15 flex points. See the flex chart and articles below for more detailed information on sizing and selecting hockey sticks. |
