Overview
The Rollerblade E2 Pro 125 Inline Skate are high-performance cross-trainers with a removable cuff system (RCS) to go from a medium-height cuff to no cuff at all. Designed for distance skating and/or marathon skating.
The carbon fiber shell optimizes energy efficiency, with padding that cradles with comfort without the need for heat molding. The medium height cuff supports a good range of motion but can be removed altogether if/when wanting to skate a proper speed setup. 3WD Frames (removable and adjustable) with 125mm 85A Hydrogen Wheels and TwinCam IlQ9 Bearings complete the versatile E2 Pro. Achieve both fitness and racing goals with one skate.
Average width. They are designed for both men and women (unisex).

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Customer Reviews
Absolute Ankle KillersThese skated great, but killed my ankles to the point where I'd be uncomfortable for a day or two afterwards and had to cut down my normal distance from ~15 miles to under 8.
I would preface this by saying that I have relatively unique feet - high arches, normal width. In ski boots I always need the high volume boots to accommodate the high volume from high arches. I bought custom insoles for these which definitely helped my high arch situation. But in both the cuff-on and cuff-off modes these things absolutely grinded the balls of my ankles to the point where I did not find any desire to skate them.
I tried multiple options to fix this including braces, extra socks, etc... but to no avail. I don't feel like I have particularly large ankles either.
I would agree with most of the reviewers that the provided size chart is off and you should go true to sneaker size. I wear size tens and have 26.8CM feet and the 10.0 in these was the right length.
Maybe if you have flatter feet the ankles will sit in a better position in the skate, but the lack of heat-moldability in these made the return pretty necessary given the discomfort.
Great skateIf you are looking for something between recreational and a speed skate, this is excellent. The size chart is not accurate and is true to shoe size. The skate does break in a bit and becomes more comfortable.
They thought of everythingAmazing skate for both indoor and urban skating. Precise control, speed, comfort, and strength. I'm super pumped about these skates!
A-MA-ZING!!First off, Inline Warehouse has the best customer service and returns process. Secondly... these are top-notch, fantastic skates. But do NOT believe the sizing chart!! I literally had to return these 3 times before I found my size. Whatever your tennis shoe size is, but the same size in these, if not 0.5 sizes LARGER. I wear a US Women's size 10.5 and a EUR 42 in tennis shoes. In THESE, I had to buy EUR 44/US (men's) 10.5! They are perfect for narrow feet like mine. Very comfortable. VERY fast. They're everything I was hoping for. I bought them because I wanted something very comfortable for long distances outside, and also very fast. Other reviews have mentioned taking these for 20 miles or so and them still being comfortable, even more so than Powerslide. They are a soft boot, but even as a beginner, I recommend them because they're so comfortable and I feel that they DO provide adequate ankle support.
Nice skatesThese skates are fast and comfy with/without the cuffs. Looks like a minor change. But actually, E2 is a great update from the previous Endurance model. I've got both.
Fantastic blades, excellent serviceLike a lot of people, I rediscovered inline skating during the Global Pandemic. When my LA gym closed on St. Paddy's Day 2020, I needed a socially-distant workout and have since gone blading well over 600 days — including a stretch of 470 days in a row. My old Rollerblade Tempest 110s did a great job keeping up with me, though they were pretty worn out by the time they finally died altogether, several weeks ago.
I had been eyeing the Rollerblade E2 Pro 125s for a while, recognizing my Tempests didn't have much life in them and ordered a pair from Inline Warehouse knowing service and support [and pricing] were always great. I have not been disappointed. When they arrived, I noticed a couple of pressure points that made the 18-mile outing I had on my first day a bit uncomfortable [in fact, a bit more than uncomfortable — I couldn't walk for the first 15 minutes after taking them off]. But I contacted Rollerblade and learned that you can, in fact, heat mold the boots. I did so, and the fit is now fantastic with great power transfer from my feet to the skates. These 'Blades are fast, comfortable, and have admirable control.
I also want to mention that Inline Warehouse has once again provided exceptional service. We had a minor snafu with billing, which was resolved immediately. And there was a slight defect with one of the straps. Though a replacement part was not in stock, Inline Warehouse worked with Rollerblade to quickly get me the part under warranty. Thank you!
Very comfortableMy previous 3x125mm is a Powerslide Swell, which I liked but had a short frame. I bought the E2 125 and was really concerned about sizing but with MP of 26.3 (around size 8.5), the size 9 is perfect. Fit like a glove but more comfortable than the powerslide. Haven't yet removed the cuff but looking forward to it
Previous Feedback
Comments: I've never had speed skates before so I thought I would use these skates with the ankle cuff on (as photographed). Turns out I absolutely love the skates without the ankle cuff after tooling around the neighborhood only a few blocks. It was obvious I preferred the cuffs off. I've been skating with high cuffs for 30 + years, so it was a surprise. These skates have the option to have the ankle cuff on or off and it's easy to remove the ankle cuff or put it back on. I wear double socks that come up just over the the lip of the top edge of the skate. They are markedly faster than any skates I've had but the biggest difference is being able to go uphill much easier. I did get one blister around the top of my left ankle, but now, a month later, and after adding a second sock; two well made thin athletic socks, they are comfortable. I average 10 miles a skate and have gone 15 and 20 miles at a time in the last two weeks. I've had to rotate the wheels once as I drag a skate to stop (not using the optional heal brake the comes with the skate) and I'm usually going pretty fast. The skates breathe well. They're tight but in a comfortable way and they are getting more and more comfortable with each skate. I've never been happier with a skate and I've been skating for 30+ years. Thanks R&D at Rollerblade and the kind people at Inline Warehouse that enabled me to trade back the other pair I bought before these with a 10% restock fee. (very fair) Love the skates, Love your company. For the record, this is the most enthusiastic review I've ever written, and one of the only reviews I've ever written.
