Overview
The Roces Fifth Element Nils Jansons Skates this time in a purple and black, which we think is the best yet. The well-loved Fifth Element mold uses dual-density boots and aluminum memory buckles.
They have a wider fit than the M12, so they are easier to get in and out of. The low cuff that offers a lot of maneuverability and the memory buckles are not to be forgotten, as they are awesome. The dual-density boots are more flexible around the lacing area, and thicker in the areas that require more durability and better energy transfer. Below is the two-piece soulplate, glass fiber reinforced polymide Roces UFS Frames, and Roces 58mm 90A wheels loaded with ABEC5 bearings.
The boots are consciously made of 47% cornstarch-based plastic and high-grade polyurethane, with comfy liners that use recycled liner padding. They also come in 100% plastic-free packaging!

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position.
