The Rink Rat Identity Hockey Wheels  are back! Rink Rat brought back this popular wheel that utilizes their Magic Urethane that makes these some of the best performing, longest-lasting wheels Rink Rat has ever made. The Magic Urethane works with their exclusive Dual-Duro Technology which uses a higher (harder) durometer on the outside with a lower (softer) durometer urethane on the inside. This allows the wheels to flex with the softer inner urethane for unreal stopping power, while the harder urethane provides the top-end speed and next-level wear-resistance.

Unique to the Rink Rat Identity wheels is each wheel size in each durometer has a unique graphic. Hence, each wheel has it's own identity.

Product NoteDEK tile or similar non-hockey perforated tiles provide less wheel contact surface area. As a result, using wheels on these surfaces has less grip and will wear down quicker.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES
Dual Duro M-Tech
The high durometer urethane outer layer ensures an exceptional roll, maximizing speed. A medium durometer urethane maintains wheel stiffness during strides, enhancing speed and responsiveness. Meanwhile, the low durometer urethane inner layer flattens out, providing maximum grip and control.

Sizing Chart

HOCKEY WHEEL HARDNESS GUIDELINES
Roller hockey wheel hardness or durometer should be decided on factors like a player's weight, skill level and playing surface. The higher the durometer rating, the harder the wheel. For example, an 82A wheel is perfect for rough outdoor surfaces while a 76A wheel excels indoors. More advanced players can also benefit from harder wheels since they can utilize the extra rebound and speed.

Better over timeThese wheels are okay at first and I found the graphics on the wheels do not aid in grip, but the opposite. The graphics cause slipping and lack grip, so depending on the side of the skate the graphics are on might cause more falls while crossing over (if on the outside edge) or not having grip while skating/accelerating (if they're on the inside edge). Once the graphics wore down I no longer had this issue, and that took about 1 month of playing 2-3 games per week of A to AA level Senior leagues. The Identity have comparable durability to Konixx Pure-X, but I would give the durability win to the Pure-X . The Identity has a better grip than the Pure-X. I hope this review helps in your wheel purchasing decision.

Stellar wheelUsed these on indoor tiles and they performed great. I was able to maintain really good top end speed and they gripped during my crossovers and stops.

Fan of Rink Rat, but....Rink Rat What have you done?! Coming from the Rink Rat Krysis wheel I had high expectations for these new Identity wheels. I was not impressed with the performance of the softer XXX GRIP. I kept slipping and falling using these wheels on sport court. I would fall more during quick changes in direction, stopping and accelerating, while starting from slower speeds. I thought at first it could be from lack of compressing these wheels, even though I had the softer wheel or excessive dust on the sport court floor. After 5 games I had enough and I swapped my wheels to Labeda Addiction XXX and Rink Rat Hornet wheels and have not fallen due to lack of grip issues using these different wheels since I changed them. Overall, I am a fan of Rink Rat wheels, just not these ones.
