Overview
The Riedell Solaris Boot is the first of its kind in Riedell's celebrated line of performance skate boots. Starting from the ground up, a new C/AA ContourFit last was used that maintains the heel-hugging security from their traditional B/AA last while offering a more natural, relaxed toe box. A Dynamic Response Outsole made of stiff composite for better performance has replaced traditional leather outsoles. Another innovation is the V-Lock heel closure system that offers unmatched security without irritation! And as icing on the cake, Riedell has pushed heat moldable counters into both sides of both boots for equal support throughout.

Comments: Love this boot! I've skated in them for over a year and love them. I agree with another reviewer that my only complaint is that the tongue on the left side won't stay in place, it slips clear down the left side of my foot. The right boot is fine, the left one is not. Other than that, they were comfortable right out of the box and feel amazing.

Comments: Not for anyone with flat feet. Absolutely destroyed my arches, even after heat molded. Blistered and bleeding after only an hour of skating on them.

Comments: I've only skated with this boot a few times so far, but am in love with the boot already! The new C/AA last gives a great fit, keeping your foot locked in while leaving plenty of room for the toes. The only complaint I have so far is that the tongue wont stay in place. My size in regular sneakers are a 7.5-8.0 and I ordered a 7.5 in the Solaris.
