Overview
The Powerslide Storm 110 Skates in all black, are fast and versatile with frames that come out of the box in a 3x110mm, but also allow for skating 4x80mm wheels. The Storm mold is new (2024) and like the Imperial boot it has 2pt 165mm frame mount spacing, but with the Storm being a little wider in fit throughout.
The frames are made of ADC10 aluminum and hold Powerslide's Spinner Wheels (full profile) and Wicked ABEC9 bearings. As mentioned, the Storm boot is similar to the Imperial mold look and materials, but with fewer cutouts in the heel. This makes them a little less ventilated, but more rigid and responsive for urban skating. They are compatible with any 165mm mount frame should you want to change to something different later, but the versatility of the 2 in 1 frames (3x110 or 4x80) likely means you won't need to. Removable MyFit FatBoy Liners provide an excellent (mold naturally and are heat moldable). They then have adjustable cuff bolts that rotate to customize feel, cuff buckles, micro-adjustable 45-degree buckles, and standard lacing. They do not come with a brake, however, they are compatible with the Urban Inline Skate Brake Mount Large when riding with 110mm wheels and the Small if choosing to skate 4x80mm.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position.
