QualityLOVE my K2 VO2 S skates. Extremely well made. Extremely comfortable. BOA + strap + ratchet = perfect foot retention for maximum control, and simple on/off and adjustment of skates. One sided frame is strong and looks SO cool! Truly beautiful and extremely functional skates. I had ordered the Rollerblade Macro 90 with BOA first- but I couldn’t get them to fit well, even experimenting with their 1/2 size insert. They felt either too tight with the insert in, or too loose without it- Upon comparison with the K2 I think the real issue regarding fit is the lack of an instep strap on the Rollerblades. That strap on the K2’s retains the foot perfectly, and keeps my heal securely but comfortably in the pocket. And comparing appearance and quality, there really is no comparison- The K2 looks and feels like the high end skate it is! The Rollerblade looks and feels like a kids toy... Thank you Inline Warehouse for making the entire purchase process easy ( even the return and exchange) First class service, and excellent customer service and communication. You’ve earned a lifetime customer.

Great for old people who have kids learningMy kids are learning to inline skate and want to go to the skating rink every weekend. However, the skate rentals were terrible in the adult sizes. These are super smooth and makes me look like a pro!

Best companyJust wanted to post some praise / advice for anyone who has or is considering buying roller skates from K2. Their customer service is above and beyond! My k2 skates are a good 10 years old. I emailed them because the Ladder just broke, wondering if they had any ideas. Without me even asking, they sent me replacement and install instructions.

Nice but not durable and limited toe boxNot a great option for wider feet. Positives: Single frame is SUPER easy to rotate wheels Very limited break-in period Boa lace is fast Comfortable ride when newer Wheels will last as long as boots (my transition to the negatives Negatives: Liner tears free in the back. Had five pair and every liner has torn free in the back so the heel actually drops down when you lift your foot. Your skate makes a clicking sound when your foot lands. New skates are quiet and secure until the heal area of the liners tear-free. Liners always tear free before its time to exchange wheels The inner lining wears our quickly by the inside heal. One to two-inch gap in liner and padding The toe box leans narrow and not tall. Built for normal to narrow feet but not good for wider feet or those that need more toe box height. I need to transition to a different skate due to blisters and big toe joint pain (phalange proximale). Thats why toe box specs are commonly shared on running shoes.

Next Gen skatesMy 5th K2 Pros: comfortable and smooth with less vibration. Fast. K2 always delivers on comfort. No need to break in the boot and quickly on/off. Cons: not as durable and if using brakes, has a tendency to get trail debris stuck between brake and wheel The clearance between frame and brake facilities it. Can result in the rearmost wheel getting jammed causing loss of balance. More prone to such a condition than the previous generation with the conventional frame

Favorite skateThis is my favorite skate. Started skating 30 years ago and have purchased about 10 pairs, 5 of which have been this model. BOA lacing makes a nice snug fit easily obtainable.
