Level of Play Definitions

    Built for the new-to-hockey player or casual skaters that are looking for an affordable option. These are great starter skates, especially for youth players.

Cut Protection Level

  • This is the general level of protection against cuts.

    • Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
    • Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
    • Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

ANSI Rated Cut Level

  • Measures the actual cut resistance of materials based on the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard.

K2 Booster Inline Skate Wheels . The Booster Series make up K2's recreational wheel. The urethane provides good durability, comes in a speed profile, but with a focus on comfort and control. Price is for a 4-pack of wheels. The 72-76mm wheels have an 80A hardness for grip and control, with the larger 80-84mm wheels coming in 82A for a little more speed and durability.  Designed for outdoor road skating, but they can be used indoors at the rink as well depending on skater weight and surface.  

Does not come with bearings or bearing spacers. If not transferring the spacers from your old wheels, you can grab some here (Sonic Bearing Spacers). Long-sleeved spacers are for use with 6mm axles, and floating spacers with 8mm axles that take up the entire center diameter of the bearing. All wheels come in a multi-purpose storage bag.

Comments: these wheels are great on asphalt however I am only 120lbs and I purposely seeking out 82A wheels to soften the ride on asphalt. It did feel a bit tad smoother than my stock 84a street invader wheels. And a bit sticker too, I probably won't try powerslide on these.For ppl heavier I guess the 84A will have the same effect than me using these wheels. And they look quite matching with my black fr1.
