Jackson VIP Skates are a great package for beginners to roller derby or that person looking to upgrade their first pair of skates without breaking the bank. The Vantage boot offers more performance than lower end vinyl boots with its microfiber construction and comfortable fabric lining. The Pilot Viper plate uses reinforced nylon for added rigidity, durability, and stability. Atom Wheels spin on Bionic ABEC-7 bearings and are great wheels for slick and outdoor surfaces.

For narrow feet but great starter pair!I learned from these skates that I have wide feet but re-lacing helped! this is what I started on and I reflect on them fondly as I upgrade to a better pair!

Derby BeginnerI've had these skates for over 1 month now and love them! I'm taking beginner roller derby classes, mostly for fun and exercise. I used to borrow skates but there's nothing like having your own pair. Makes a big difference plus I have them 24/7 where I can practice anytime. They're affordable, stylish and comfortable. 100% worth the purchase!

Comments: I absolutely love these skates! I used to play roller derby about 10 years ago, and I wanted to get back into skating. These skates are really comfortable, and didn't hurt my feet when I skated 7 miles in them at the park yesterday (using outdoor wheels, of course). I had the Riedell R3's when I was in roller derby, and those would actually make my feet hurt after a long day of skating. I wear a size 8 in women's but ended up having to trade in the 6.5 for a size 7 in these skates (it helped that the exchange was easy, quick, and painless). The 6.5 was just a tad too small at the toes for me. I have pretty average feet- maybe even a tiny bit on the wider side, but definitely fit standard shoes comfortably. So if you're on the cusp of a size, I definitely recommend going up a half size. Another interesting option that the Jackson VIP's offer is that you can boil the boots to fit your feet better (it comes with the plastic bags to do it in with instructions and everything). I haven't done that yet, and TBH I don't know if I'll need to. I'm pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of these skates, especially for the price! I definitely recommend these for any beginner/intermediate skater. From: Jessie, Salt Lake City, UT, 9/15/21
Comments: I usually wear 11.5-12 these boots were advertised at 11 but actually were 10 in mens. I only skate inside so after I did a wheel swap to something harder the skates felt better. Overall I was pleased with my skates and Derby Warehouse From: Gil, 10/3/21
