Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The second edition FR Skates FRX 80 Skates in Black have X3R frames that ride lower to the ground to offer even more stability for freeskating fun and urban skating adventures. They also offer the ability to rocker the wheels for enhanced agility. The FRX is compatible with FR custom color kits, and delivers excellent control and a smooth roll. The FRX 80 Skates are a great choice whether you are looking to challenge yourself, or wanting to relax and cruise.
The FRX hard shell is strong and supportive with Safety Top Buckles and Wide Powerstraps. Inside are removable FR Comfort Liners and insoles to provide all-day comfort. The boots and frames are easy to service (updated with standard 4mm frame mounting screws) so that standard allen keys can be used on all of the hardware, including the cuff bolts. Two one-piece axles are used in the middle, with rotating rockerable axles used on the front and rear wheel positions. To rocker the wheels just rotate the axle into position with either the logo facing up or down.
The FRX 80 Skates features 80mm 85A Downtown Wheels with FR TwinCam M7 Freeride bearings. A brake is not included, but the X3R Frame is compatible with the new 4W (72-90MM) INCLUDING X3R brake.
