Overview
The FR FRX 80 Skates are hugely popular among urban freekaters for being supportive, highly controllable, and affordable. Those same qualities naturally made them become popular to all skaters. FR Skates has offered the FRX80 in many colors over the years, and in 2025 released the White here with new lower riding X3R Frames.
The FRX 80 Skates in White come complete with 80mm 85A Downtown Wheels and TwinCam M7 Bearings. The new X3R Rockerable Frame mounts using 2pt 165mm frame mount spacing and skates flat 4x80mm or if wanting to rocker, one can rotate the axles in the front and rear wheel positions. The X3R Frame has a lower center of gravity than the previous model year making the new FRX80 even more quick and agile than ever before. The FRX 80 does NOT come with a brake and the X3R Frame is NOT compatible with the current FR 4W Brake. Should you be a skater that enjoys skating with a brake, a new brake for this frame is being released shortly.

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES |

Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.
FR liners break in with skate time to free up more room. A snug fit from the start is good. * FR is doing a running change to adjust the US size on these sizes to more closely correspond with the measurements for that size. The skate box (or tongue) may read either US size during this change, but the sizing of the skate is the same (EU, MP, and CM). |
