Overview
The latest FR Skates FRX 80 Skates in Black have the all-new X3R frames to ride lower to the ground, making them even more stable, with the ability to rocker the wheels for enhanced agility.
FRX shells are very customizable and sturdy with removable FR Comfort liners and insoles inside. They have three closures with a safety top buckle, wide 45-degree powerstraps and laces. The boots and frames are easy to service (updated with standard 4mm frame mounting screws) so that standard allen keys can be used on all of the hardware, including the cuff bolts. Two one-piece axles are used in the middle with rockerable axles on the front and back wheel positions. To rocker the wheels up or down just turn the asymmetrical axle into the position you'd like with either the logo facing upward or downward. The FRX 80 Skates come with 80mm 85A Downtown Wheels and FR TwinCam M7 Freeride bearings inside. There may be some wheel clearance issues if trying to move the frames to older FR3 shells or other shells. The X3R frame is NOT compatible with the current short and medium 4WD Brakes (a new brake for the X3R will be out soon).

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES |
|
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit. | |
FR liners break in with skate time to free up more room. A snug fit from the start is good. |
