The FR3 80 Skates in Black combines FReeride and FReestyle skating with X2R frames that can rocker the front and rear wheels by rotating the axles. They have integrated aluminum frame mounting blocks like the FR1 for synergy and response. Frames can be mounted in 7 different positions to customize to preference.

The FR3 costs less than the FR1, using plastic instead of metal buckles, but gaining rockerable frames. They then use Street King 80mm 85A wheels with TwinCam MW7 bearings making for a great urban freeskate that is freestyle ready. No Brake - Compatible with FR Skates 4W Brake Mount.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.
FR liners break in with skate time to free up more room. A snug fit from the start is good.
* FR is doing a running change to adjust the US size on these sizes to more closely correspond with the measurements for that size. The skate box (or tongue) may read either US size during this change, but the sizing of the skate is the same (EU, MP, and CM).

Still worth itLet me start by saying I got the wrong size. It was my first time purchasing hard boot skates so it was expected to be a little off. This was just too tight for my foot so I ended up going up the next size which is perfect. The difference from soft boot to these were amazing clear. The power I get from each push was so great. I will admit I didn't feel as agile as I am in my soft boot but I'm absolutely faster. I've only been skating them for a week and they feel really comfortable. I recommend never doing soft boot

Perfect skate for the price pointWonderful for cruising the roads and having fun at the roller rink. lining is soft and comfortable while maintaining great control. swaping rockers on and off is a fast 1 min job. My girlfriend recently tried a pair of Seba E3 which is a very similar skate and when you comp-are them side by side you can clearly see why FR is the superior brand with higher quality parts and liners. Even though both skates use the same X2R frame it the FR3s frame appeared as if it was made with a better mold and finished with more care. we were so impressed with my FR3s she returned her E3s and bought the FRWs for herself which have just as high of quality as my FR3s

Wonderful skatesI've been a Rollerblade loyalist for the last 30 years up until last year in 2022. I've experienced a boot pressure point of pain in several of my Twisters and having switched to FR3's, I'm no longer in pain. I can ride in these all day without any discomfort.

Great skates for wider feetMe feet are between an E and 2E and these skates hug my feet in the right way! They started out super tight, but now they're very comfortable with a decent amount of support. The stock wheels seem pretty good, too. Would definitely recommend.

Learned to love the skatesMy feet are 26 cm, so I bought size 7.5. For the first few hours of riding, my toes were definitely not happy from being squished as the liner adjusted, but now they fit just right. They're stable, supportive, and durable -- exactly what I was looking for. My only gripe is that one of the axles came to me with a stripped socket. Luckily just the top third of the socket was stripped, but I couldn't even fit a hex wrench in there. It came out fine after a lot of scraping away burrs and hammering at the wrench, but that was quite annoying.

Amazing skatesEverything about this skate is amazing but I do have one big problem I had to DIY the screws that were on too tight to where I ended up stripping the screws and I had to drill them out to get one out that was way too stripped. Noticed there was a lot of Loctite or whatever they use on threads to make sure they're tight

ImpressiveDependable, light, supportive skate. I'm 27 cm long, 10.5 cm wide and 42 fits perfectly. I don't adjust my cuffs, so I like that it doesn't have all those extra moving parts inside the cuff bolts. I like the full sole shock pads. Plastic buckles work fine and don't rattle. Shell, straps and boot are the same as FR1&2. Everything is replaceable with FR 1,2&3 parts. Great skate and value in the FR line.

Awesome skateI've had my FR3s for a year now and they are a great skate to learn on. It is a solid skate. After all the falls and scrapes they are still holding up great. I admit it does take a LONG time for the liner to fit your foot, it would be nice if they were Heat moldable, but once you put in the time and break them in it's a smooth ride. The notches on the ankle strap do wear down pretty quickly. Mine are chewed up because I wrench my skates really tight. But they still work. Overall, I highly recommend this skate for someone who wants to get into inline skating.

Comments: Very good and solid skates overall , I didn't like the plastic buckles though. I use 9.5 shoe size , but FR skates are available at 9 and 10 sizes only. Ordered size 10 , looks too big even with added insole . Item was returned , and refunded . Great service overall , will order 9.5 from another brand from IW.
