The CCM Tacks XR85 LE Hockey Skates are built for competitive players who want strong performance and comfort right out of the box. Featuring CCM's new CORE Boot technology, the XR85 combines a close-to-the-foot fit with lightweight, reactive materials and one-piece boot power transfer to help players get the most out of every stride.
Inside the boot, multi-layer ADPT Memory Foam ankle pads create a snug, comfortable wrap around the foot, with TotalDri Pro skate lining to wick away moisture, keeping feet dry and comfortable. A 7mm felt tongue with injected lace-bite protection provides a traditional feel with added comfort across the top of the foot, paired with CCM OrthoLite footbeds underfoot for lightweight support.
Underneath, a +6mm external wedge adds a 3-degree forward pitch, helping players settle naturally into a deeper knee bend and stay ready to attack every transition. The SpeedBlade XS holder uses a quick-release metal pin locking system for fast and easy steel changes, along with XS1 Pro Black steel runners that sit 4mm taller than standard CCM steel for increased attack angles during aggressive turns. The premium Black coating also provides enhanced edge retention and corrosion resistance for long-lasting performance.
