The CCM Tacks XF Pro Youth Shoulder Pads feature elite-level protection powered by D3O foam for extra impact absorption. An important area of the body, the sternum, is built with compressed-molded EVA foam and D3O, providing the ultimate combination to protect the front of the body from stray pucks or accidental collisions. D3O specifically is made to absorb and dissipate impact energy away from the body.
Molded plastic with great comfort foams was used in all the other key impact areas that a young player needs to stay safe. The XF Pro then offers great mobility so players can feel confident when deking through their opponents and not having to worry about protection weighing them down.
To make dressing for the game even easier, the neck opening features CCM's EZ-Fit design that allows the shoulder pads to easily fit over any head size. Players can also fine-tune their belly pad placement and the length of their bicep guards, ensuring they have a proper fit and any gap in protection is eliminated. The incredibly soft liner adds an extra layer of comfort and is designed to effectively handle sweat and moisture throughout the game.

Sizing Chart
| GENERAL SHOULDER PAD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
|---|---|
| Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness. |
