Overview
The CCM Tacks AS-V Pant showcases elite-level protection and coverage for the highly competitive player but for a more affordable price. JDP hip caps disperse impact taken from players or contact with a surface away from the joint while D30 Lite foam absorbs the impact force, allowing players to play physically and get in the middle of any battle.
D30 Lite also reinforces the molded foam spine guard, giving players top-level protection to the lower spine as they battle along the boards or in front of the net. It then blends seamlessly into the tailbone protection, which adds comfort and keeps protection fully covering the body.
The AS-V utilizes an internal belt and hidden 1" zipper for a locked-in fit and for players to grow with their pants. Externally, CCM built it with a premium nylon construction with new features such as a pro cut -1" length in the back of the legs and repositioned inner leg zippers in order to reduce friction during crossovers.

| Measure the circumference of your waist just above the hips. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. You may overlap between hockey pant sizes, which in this case comes down to personal preference. The smaller size will fit closer to the body while the larger size will offer more volume and coverage. |

Awesome pantsPro level protection at an affordable price!
Best Pants I've ever ownedI just got these and tried them for the first time last night. They felt quite fitted for being a "high volume" pants. The protection and mobility are both off the charts.
CCM does it againI'm coming from the CCM Jetspeed FT4 pants. I really liked the tight fit and mobility from those pants but they were a little short on me even with the +1" and I was maxing out the inseam. Time to get a bigger size! I figured I'd up the protection as well because I play defense and I've been blocking more shots recently. Thus, lead me to the Tacks line. Definitely more protective with the D30 Lite and thicker foams around the waste and tailbone. They fit just as comfortably and are only slightly heavier than my FT4s (100grams). My biggest gripe is the suspender buttons. They're the same as the JetSpeeds and I had 2 of those (1 on each side) pop off on the ice in a total of 3 months. Granted I don't need or use suspenders but it lowers the resale value and leaves a sharp pokey object on your pants. I also wish they would've used the same Dryfoam on the liner as the FT4s because that made dry-out time quick and easy. Hopefully, the liner, which looks amazing and is very plush, on the AS-V drys out just as quick.
