Overview

Playing Style

A Power-Focused Playing Style suits players who thrive on generating strong, top-end speed through forceful and longer strides. They come with a stiffer boot that efficiently transfers energy into the rink for maximum power with every stride.

  • Acceleration

An Acceleration-Focused Playing Style is ideal for players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. You can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves, and accelerate rapidly with these skates.

The CCM Next Shoulder Pad is a wonderful choice for the brand-new or casual player who needs a lightweight shoulder pad but with protection to suit recreational play. The inclusion of standard foam provides lightweight yet effective torso protection, while compress-molded foam enhances safety in the sternum guard. This sternum protection also floats above the jacket, allowing extra mobility for the player while keeping the protection where it needs to be.A standout feature at this price point is the length adjustable bicep guards, which can be moved up or down on the arm to ensure proper coverage and dialed-in fit for maximum comfort.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SHOULDER PAD SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness.
