They take multiple features from the FT8, one of them being the Amplified Mobility Design in the front panel construction (Senior sizes only). This really drives your mobility up for making quick movements across the neutral zone and deking through defenders.
Another key feature that makes its way into the Xtra SE is the AER-TEC Ventilation and FT8 protection package throughout the front panel. This allows players to experience CCM's game-changing breathability for quicker sweat evaporation and coverage for high-end gameplay. Along with the blue chrome jewel CCM logo on the shoulder caps, the Xtra SE sets you apart in the locker room.
For the junior model, it's a great build for the recreational player who is starting to ramp up their game. Molded plastic in all the key impact areas provides great impact protection, while the addition of PE inserts within the clavicle elevates protection for the player starting to get more physical. | Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness. |
