Overview
The CCM JetSpeed Xtra SE Shin Guard is a stellar option for the quick and agile player looking for top-notch mobility and protection at an affordable price. It showcases the same calf, knee wing, and thigh protection as the FT6 (Senior sizes only). It offers compression-molded EVA foams for elite-level protection and coverage for players who drive their way to the net.
Ventilation ports on the shin cap along with the single ventilation port in the shin liner is CCM's AER-TEC Ventilation System. This system allows air to move freely in and out to keep the leg cooler during gameplay. The Xtra SE also comes with an adjustable calf strap, allowing players to adjust their fit and coverage for excellent comfort. CCM added a nice touch by designing the Xtra SE with the same graphic package as the FT6 Pro, giving it a truly pro-level style.
The Junior sizes have compression-molded plastic to guard the calf against slashes, and a soft sublimated liner for out-of-the-box comfort. Players can adjust their liner to fine-tune their fit and utilize the upper and lower straps to secure the shin guard for maximum coverage.

| GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES | |

| Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
| If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
