Overview
The CCM Axis F5 Goalie Leg Pads are designed with Butterfly movements and mechanics in mind for the Junior goaltender who is looking to improve their rebound control. At its core, the F5 Leg Pads boast CCM's LiteCore technology, a construction that helps to reduce pad weight while increasing the pop of rebounds. This combination allows goalies to redirect rebounds with more power so they have more time to set up for the next shot.
Seal and movement along the ice is more efficient than ever, with the help of the Dynamic Response System and Speed Skin technology. DRS is a one-piece landing zone for the knee stack which provides an excellent seal and stability when in the butterfly. Speed Skin allows the leg pads to glide seamlessly across the ice for quicker transitions, even late in the third period when the conditions get snowy.
Down low, the F5's have a shallow loose fit within the leg channel and come with CCM's Quick Motion Strap System 2 (QMSS2). This combination helps with quick and easy pad rotation, recovery, and now even easier adjustability so goalies can dial in their fit.

| With bare feet and knee slightly bent, measure the distance from the floor to the middle of the kneecap. Use this floor-to-knee measurement and player height to find the best-fitting leg pad size using the table below. Thigh Rise Size is the measurement from the middle of the kneecap to the top of the thigh rise, which is based on a goalie's personal preference. |
