Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. Need help? Try our guide on How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
While seated indoors, lace and buckle both skates while ensuring that both heels are snug in their heel cups. Carefully stand and bend your knees to mimic a skating posture. Toes should be resting naturally and not cramped or touching the front of the toe box. For more fitting advice, check out How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.

Comments: Great skates but long break-in period. I've had these for about one year now, and I love them! They provide a real yet inexpensive racing skate experience. These are not 'comfy' skates. They're high-performance beasts that will make you pay a price. It took a long time for my feet to develop calluses on the inner arch of each foot...think lots of bloody blisters along the way - ouch! The heat molding is great, but the real breakthrough for me was short-lacing the skate. When the skate is laced all the way down it made my toes fall asleep. My Solution: cut 26 inches off Bont skate lace and tie loose ends together with a square knot. Then, skip first 3 sets of eyelets and only thread laces through the top three holes (one on the instep part and two up around the ankle). This provides plenty of support with greater flexibility and toe comfort. I also took an exacto knife and cut off the stupid/pointless/painful laces cover and the attendant buckle on the outside of the ankle. It offered nothing in the way of performance, just weight and poor positioning that resulted in instep pain. As for sizing, I went down 1 1/2 sizes from 10 1/2 US to 9 US sized. Once you get some Bones Swiss Ceramics in these babies you will probably feel like they're too fast :)
