KEY TECHNOLOGIES
Trinity X Mounting
The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Improvements neededI struggled to get the ankle cuff buckles tight enough to hold my ankles firmly in place. When I would get them to the point where I needed them to be, I could not snap them shut. It felt like they were about to bend, or break, so I had to settle for a looser fit. And trying to tighten and snap the buckles while twisting your body to reach and compress the latch is difficult and awkward. In addition, releasing the ankle cuff buckle is difficult as the handle sits recessed against the side of the boot, like the door handle on a Tesla. I had to loop a shoelace underneath each flap for leverage to pull it up and release the latch. I would highly recommend just replacing the Micro Adjustable Cuff Buckle with a ratchet buckle, like the one on the instep. It is a very stiff boot and thick insert, so you need better/stronger adjustment options than you would find on a soft boot. And the overlapping flaps are more annoying and confusing than effective. If you do not layer them correctly, the plastic on one of the flaps will push against the ankle buckle making it impossible to close shut. Since the flaps cannot pushed aside when putting on or removing the skates, they just sit in the way, making them more of a nuisance than anything else. The fit of the footbed was comfortable. No complaints there. However, in loosening the axles to try on different wheels, one of the axles stripped immediately, and that was it... I could not get the wheel off. Just seems like the quality was not there with the Trinity frame. Given the frequency with which skaters replace and rotate wheels, I did not feel the other axles would hold up for long. As for the laces, with boots this stiff, it felt like they were more for display than utility. I could not budge them enough to be of any use. I understand that they have a wax coating but still, on a stiff, molded boot laces provide little leverage, so perhaps they should consider eliminating the laces and adding a third ratcheting buckle instead. A third, that is, if you include replacing the ankle cuff buckle. Adjustments and axles aside, the skates--once on--did feel good and rolled decently. I just hope the next "Next Core" will include incorporate these design improvements/suggestions, or even better ones. I spent hours making repeated attempts to put on, loosen, tighten, and remove these skates and it just seemed like too much wasted time and effort. They just felt clunky.

Not badGenerally, seem a little unrefined. Definitely an improvement from the ancient soft boots they replaced but they did not blow me away. I do still like the whole trinity thing because I like to be as low as possible. I'm a skier and they seem lower quality than ski boots but then again these are a lot cheaper than most ski boots. Trash talk aside, got them out of the box yesterday and had a lot of fun on them.

Constant disapointmentI tried really hard to like these skates. They were much faster than the old k2s I replaced, but problems with them started on day 1. The skates have a pressure point right around where the ankle is, that initially felt like it would break my bone. I assumed this would go away after a break-in period but after 6 months and hundreds of miles of skating, there is still pain and some unbelievable blisters as well. As far as the build quality one of the buckles keeps coming out of place every time its used, and in order to use it again it needs to be completely removed, placed back into position and screwed in again. Beyond that, bolts holding the wheel in place come loose from regular road vibrations. Even though I made it a habit of tightening the bolts before every skate I lost one of the back wheels going down a pretty steep hill.

Skating again at 36Skated all the time as a teen, and never thought I would get back into it. That changed when we took our daughter to a skate party and fell in love with it again. These are great skates with nice speed and control. Been skating every weekend since I got them. Once you break them in the MyFit sole gets better and better!

Amazing I have not worn blades in a long time but now that I'm back in the game I must say these are great. For an all-black style, they still look cool get some good speed out of them. And I love boot style so I had to get them for comfort cause my feet hurt easily but not in these I can skate for two hours and be fine lol but after the dogs start barking. Overall I give them a 8.5/10 I love them

Good Skates, Great Service Only worn once, yet.. but so far, love these. I've worn a lot of skates and these are great; pretty light and good ankle support. Ordered the wrong size initially and IW Customer Service made it super easy to exchange and get the correct pair. I even ordered them to another state for Christmas presentation and had to have the exchange sent home; that was easy too!

Comments:
I just started back to skating after an 18 year layoff. In that I will say that I skated 6 times since 2002. Before that... I skated pretty much all my life, starting in the 70's and starting in 1996 - 2002, I literally did inline skating at least a couple of hours per day, 5-6 days per week and I skated EVERYWHERE.

In 96 I went with Roces. I stuck with them and had 3 different pairs through the rest of the 90's - 2002. in the time around 2002 I went back into the USMC... I ended up losing my skates or giving them away throughout many moves or deployments. 6 years ago, I picked up a nice pair of Rollerblades and upgraded the bearings immediately. I did not get time for my feet to adjust, but they were very uncomfortable, too many contact/pressure points. I did not take a heat gun to them, I was afraid I would burn up the leather or other leather like materials on the surface. I just cleaned them up last night and giving them to my son.

These POWERSLIDE NEXT CORE 80s are the most comfortable skates I have ever owned. I put them on and I could tell right away that these are good quality skates. I put the MY FIT liners in the oven and they formed perfectly around my feet. I took a heat gun to the outer surface of my inside arch area where I have always adjusted with past skates. These did not require much heating and adjustment at all. These skates are outstanding, they feel great so far and I can only imagine they will feel even better as time goes by... for that I will add to this review.

Now that I am starting back at 50 years old, I have been out twice so far after having these for a week. I am teaching myself all over again and it will take awhile until I am back to sliding, stopping, jumping, speeding and rolling backward like I used to... but this time I am conscious that I am older and won't be skating with reckless abandon like I used to. NOW... I have ordered padding and helmet, something that I am no longer too cool to wear. :) I look forward to racking up many miles on these.

Comment:
Skates are fantastic, and delivery from Inline Warehouse was also fantastic!I wear a size 12 with a wide foot. Size 46-47 fit me perfectly and are very comfortable. The hold my heal in nicely and plenty of room in the toe box. No pressure points. I did not bake them, but I did pick up some waxes laces.
With the resurgence of inline skating due to the pandemic, these skates were hard to find. I pre-ordered them from Inline Warehouse. They came in earlier than the advertised date. Inline Warehouse got them shipped right away. Having a return shipping label is very nice in case they didn't fit. Fortunately I did not need to use it.

Comments:
These skates very stable and maneuverable. Once heat molded they fit perfectly. Additionally they are quite spacious for wide feet. The all black setup is really cool!

Comments: Been watching a lot of skate videos and wanted to get back into skating after a 15 year break. At first I was looking and doing some research on the Rollerblade Twister Edge X cause of the skating style. After doing some more research, I came across Powerslide and became even more interested with their designs and engineering. What I like about Powerslide skates is the MyFit liners, the Trinity mounting system, appearance and availability of replacement parts. I wanted these really bad.

Ordered myself a pair of Powerslide Next Core 80 and was anxious to get them. I understand these are limited production skates and waited almost a month to get them delivered. Folks at Inline Warehouse were very nice and helpful answering my questions due to item being back ordered. I would definitely shop here again.

After unboxing item, I was amazed at the quality of skates and was not disappointed. I followed step by step instructions from a video off YouTube made by Powerslide. I like how the liners conform to your feet and makes the liners fit like a glove. That evening had a skate session and was impressed by the smoothness, power transfer, and the maneuverability of these skates. The skates are true to size, fits perfectly length wise. I do have wider feet so there was a pressure point on my inner ankles. Fixed that problem using a heat gun and was happier than ever. Overall in my opinion I LOVE these skates. After these pair are destroyed due to my skating style, I'll buy myself another pair.

Thank you to Powerslide for a great product and folks at Inline Warehouse for great customer service. Now I need help finding some 90mm wheels for my Kizer Flux Frames. ;)

Comments: A smooth ride! Great for a beginner like myself. The trinity mount really helps with control. Absolutely magnificent

Comments: These skates are amazing! I'm a size 13 US being a big foot doesn't give me many options on skates but I'm glad these were able to fit me just perfectly! I'm coming from using Rollerblade's zetrablade and i can clearly feel the difference. I have some much more control over my feet.

Comments: Ok i rarely review but thought it'd be worth sharing - these guys rule. At first i thought they were snug and was almost ready to return them (even though i measured my foot and added 0.5cm for space). But then i realized they just felt tight because they hadn't been heat molded yet. So, heat molded them with two pairs of socks on and now they're perfect. I did what any idiot would do and rode 14 miles my first wear out of excitement, but actually had no blisters - just a minor rub on inner left ankle. So will likely heat mold again. Anyways, smooth and stable ride from a noob!

Comments: Started skating with them and felt like a dream. The cuff gives great support around the ankle and heat treated liners is the best fit in my opinion. Trinity mount really gives you excellent control as you are lower to the ground and is overall a very well built skate for beginning to intermediate users.

Comments: I purchased these because of the excellent reviews and because they are visually stunning! Best skates ever, buy them now! Very fast and stable and comfortable and amazing. Impressive maneuverability. Not for beginners because there is no brake. If you know how to skate already you will love them. The only cons are that the straps are quite weak and one of them already ripped off trying to put the boot on. Just open your laces more and don't use the straps. Put it back in and glued it together. Least it looks good still and it doesn't affect anything. Also, wish the center wheels could be adjusted/lowered. Guess I'll just buy a set of wheels and make a hybrid set up. MAHALO!

Comments: If you are looking to get back into skating from ice skating or in-line these are great. I've been using these for a few weeks now and have yet to heat mold them but the soft boot has adjusted to my foot pretty easily. I swapped out the soft boot's sole for a more cushioned one which made a lot of difference for how long I was able to skate. I recommend picking up an extra buckle or two if you notice you're falling a lot. I had 1 bad fall that mangled my top buckle but I was able to bend it back into place thought I'm still planning on picking up a replacement

Comments: These skates are the best. I am 31 year old but I feel like 18. I am very happy with these skates. I recommended them.
