The Winnwell Youth Player Hockey Starter Kit is a fantastic and affordable option for parents looking to get their new young hockey player suited up for their first game. Aside from a helmet and hockey skates, the Winnwell Kit has every protective piece that a player needs to stay protected from impacts; shoulders, gloves, elbows, shins, and hockey pants.
Molded plastic is used in the key impact areas to guard the body against collisions and falls to the ice while standard foam provides additional coverage to the body. Everything is built with a lightweight and mobile fit so the young player can confidently weave their way through defenders to score their first hockey goal. Winnwell even included a hockey bag to stash all of the included gear with extra room to spare for jerseys and anything else you need to bring to the rink.
The kit comes in three sizes, ranging from ages 6 to 9 and players 3'3" - 4'7", offering plenty of options for players of all sizes. Each piece of equipment also comes with Cleansport NXT Technology, a premium design within the fabric that eliminates odors, keeping each protective piece smelling fresh throughout the season.
