The Winnwell AMP500 Youth Shoulder Pads are ideal for the youngster stepping on the rink for their first hockey game. Molded plastic was used in the shoulder caps to provide exceptional impact protection when the player falls or accidentally collides with another player or the boards. Soft foam adds torso and bicep coverage, protecting the player from other impacts while allowing fantastic mobility and a featherlight fit.
They come with large Velcro torso straps that can be easily adjusted so players can get a dialed-in fit. Internally, the AMP500 features a premium liner that excels at odor control. Instead of masking odors, the liner has Cleasnsport NXT Technology integrated into the fabric, which destroys the odor-causing bacteria and works for the shoulder pad's entire lifespan.

Sizing Chart
| GENERAL SHOULDER PAD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
|---|---|
| Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness. |
